My Experience

I worked for many years in a young people's counselling centre before training in a body focused psychotherapy with Tricia Scott. I completed a 3 year training in group work and have had training influences from the Tavistock clinic, The Institute of Family Therapy, Post Adoption Centre and the School of Energy Healing and I am a certified practitioner in Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT).

I have been working in private practice for over 25 years and was a senior tutor at the Minster Centre Psychotherapy Training Centre and taught the 'Body in Psychotherapy Module' on this course for 13 years. I currently supervise counsellors working for One in Four, an organisation working with adults who have survived sexual abuse in childhood.

I am registered with The United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy and am a member of UK Association for Humanistic Psychology Practitioners.

Qualifications.

CQSW - Certificate of Qualification in Social Work
DABS - Diploma in Applied Behavioural Sciences
PACTS - Post Adoption Centre Counselling and Therapeutic Skills
UKCP - United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy registered
